Travelocity

and yet again, another advert featuring “gay vague” characters, this time the ad was actually used.

This ad is funny, therefore it’s hard to get offended. The ad screams of stereotyping, but it has to be taken in context.

ps. Thanks to Mark  for sending me this one!

I don’t usually like stereotyping of any kind – but here it’s genuinely funny and hence I don’t mind it, and really enjoyed the ad. Though I’m not a gay man, so I don’t know how gay men would react – – ah yes, guess what, they’d all react in different ways, wouldn’t they, because they’re NOT ALL THE SAME! – I did like it a few months back when Sean, the stereotypical camp gay man in “Coronation Street” delivered the line “I am a stereotypical gay character.”
