Star Trek Movie News Update.

John Cho (‘Harold & Kumar‘) has been cast as Sulu. The casting news was scooped by TrekMovie.com, and it’s now been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.

This leaves the characters of James T. Kirk (Chris Pine has been offered the role), Christopher Pike, Dr. Leonard “Bones” McCoy and Kirk’s parents as the only remaining lead roles yet to be cast.

Considering production begins in November, the casting announcement for Kirk (and the other roles) is likely very close.
